Long leisurely lunching in Port's Prettiest Lakeside Venue
When: LUNCH - Friday 29th May 12.00 – 3.00pm and longer!
Where: Al fresco (but under cover for rain or sunshine!) all along the lakeside at The Mirage Country Club, Port Douglas Road.
What: The ideal excuse for a very, very long lunch! Pre-arranged seating, table service of a thoughtfully chosen, three course menu showcasing fresh local produce (vegetarian options available – just ask when you book) accompanied by well-matched quality Australian wines. The love-to-lunchers of Port Douglas come out and are joined by seasoned Southern professionals each year.
We’ve chosen Hats off to Carnivale as our theme this year. We’re going to present a afternoon of great food, wines and fabulous fashion and we want guests to don their best hats and come dressed to impress. Prizes will be awarded accordingly, with both mens’ and womens’ attire judged by a panel and great hats are guaranteed to get their attention.
There’s live music to kick on all afternoon if you’re so inclined. Our sponsor, Sheraton Mirage, ensures that this is a dining experience to remember presented by the fabulous Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas kitchen brigade lead by their highly experienced executive chef Klaus Keller.
